The 2025 baseball season for Hayward High School started on a strong note with a 2–0 victory over American High School on February 25. Their win came all thanks to great pitching by Adrian Duran, who is a sophomore who went all the way to shut out the other team and also managed to drive in two runs. The team is coached by Ceasar Brown, while the assistant coaches are Maurice Smith and Mario Sanchez. They have been working hard in building up a strong team along with experienced players with a few new faces into a tight supportive environment.
Working their way into the future, the Farmers did still fine, growing and cooperating. The conspicuous stars, Junior R. Bueno, with a batting average of .500, and Freshman N. Braggs, with an on-base percentage of .667, were key in their success. In the end, the team made a strong run towards league playoffs and gained a record that truly reflected their hard work and determination.
