The original intent for her taking this class was to just get the credit, but over time it helped her continue practicing creativity within writing, which is something she has struggled with as she felt that the creativity part lacked the more she grew up. Her future goals are indefinite as she’s going wherever the wind takes her. Born and raised in Hayward as the youngest of 5 and she likes to watch films, do junk journaling, and word searches in her free time.

Lucky-Saga

My name is Lucky, I am a journalist in journalism. Journalism is fun because as journalists we get to interview people in and out of our vicinity and we get to explore different aspects of what topics we as journalists are covering. As of right now my topic is Polynesian Club here at Hayward High School. Polynesian Club is a club that focuses on the cultures of Pacific islanders. As a student that’s in the poly club they come together at lunch in the weight lifting room by the gym. I go there during lunch to observe everything they practice and jot down notes for future articles I might be writing about the poly club.

I am Rick Cordova Meza, a senior at Hayward High school. I joined journalism to see what it was about and ended up enjoying it. I like to work on cars and that’s my way to make money while I’m in school focusing on keeping my grades up. What I enjoy doing as a hobby is playing my guitar and composing songs or playing soccer when I have time. For the future I want to buy a Shelby GT500 and to reconstruct it. Lastly, I want to be rich and be unemployed so I can travel around the world.
